Maddie and Rowen

Recently Madeline met her new best friend - Rowen Bourne. Like Soren/Maya, the two girls are only a couple weeks apart. We are excited to see these two grow up together

We really didnt think Maddie's head was that large. Until this photo op. Now this is all we can see when we look at our lovely daughter's giant melon of a head.

Best Big Brother

I'll admit we were a bit concerned about how Soren would adjust to his new role as a big brother, especially once the novelty wore off and he realized his sister was here to stay. The good news is that so far our concerns were unfounded. Soren has been the sweetest brother Madeline could ask for. He brings her blanket, shares his favorite toys (even his elephant!), and tells her 'it will be ok, baby sister' when she's upset. Watching him interact with her is so precious and we're very blessed.
